Master Soleiman was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun medal. It is a reward reserved to people who deemed themselves exceptionally worthy for their achievements in specific fields. As it can be seen from the picture above, the decoration of the medal represents a "rising sun", with rays bursting out from the sun-shaped emblem in the center, which is a symbol of the Japanese flag and thus symbolizes the joyful vigor of the sun that is about to rise. Between the ribbon and the medal itself, Paulonia flowers and leaves are attached.
